eReaderIQ alternative: track ebook, print and audio prices beyond Kindle

eReaderIQ is built around the Kindle store. If you read on a Kindle and buy from Amazon, it is a focused tool for that. If you also buy print, listen to audiobooks, shop at other stores or borrow from the library, you may want a tracker that looks wider.

What eReaderIQ does well

eReaderIQ does one job and does it clearly: it watches Kindle ebook prices and tells you when a book you care about gets cheaper. It can also follow an author and email you when any of their Kindle titles drops in price. Its price drop lists and watch lists make it easy to catch Kindle deals without checking every day. For readers who live in the Kindle ecosystem, that focus is a strength.

When to use which

Use eReaderIQ when:

  • You only read Kindle ebooks and buy from Amazon.
  • You want lists of Kindle price drops in one place.

Use Track Book Price when:

  • You read in more than one format, or want the cheapest format for each book.
  • You'd rather borrow free from the library first.
  • You want one price line for a whole reading list, across many stores.

Kindle readers can use both. Keep eReaderIQ for Kindle deals, and use Track Book Price to see what the same book costs in print, as an ebook from other stores, or as an audiobook.

How Track Book Price works

  1. Find a book. Search any title or browse books by category. Each book page shows the best current price for print new, print used, ebook and audiobook, with the store and when we checked it.
  2. Check the library first. Every book page links to a title search at your library on Libby (a free library app), so you can borrow before you buy.
  3. Set a price line. Pick the price you'd pay and we'll email you when it drops below it. Have a list already? Import it and set one line for every book. See today's deals for books already below their usual price.

We never show Amazon prices. Amazon appears only as a "Check price on Amazon" link. We earn affiliate commissions when you buy through store links, which keeps the site free.
