Reading-list guide
How to use a book price tracker
A book price tracker helps you keep a reading wish list and decide what you are willing to pay. With Track Book Price, you can choose formats, set a price line for one book or a group, and search your library before buying. The service is free.
Prices shown in the example lists are samples, not live deals. A book without a recent store offer shows “Price pending.” Live offers depend on store data being connected, so an alert is not guaranteed for every title.
Build your reading list
Open your queue and add a title or ISBN. Add the author if you know it, then choose Print, Ebook or Audio. Pick the formats you would actually buy so your list reflects your preferences.
For a longer list, use the CSV import in Settings. Include titles and, where available, authors, ISBNs and formats. Excel files need to be saved as CSV first. Sign in to save your books and settings; signed-out changes are only a trial and do not persist.

Choose a book price alert line
Your line is the maximum price that works for you. Select the books you want to change in your queue, then choose one of these measures:
- Exact price: enter the most you want to pay. An exact line of $10 means a qualifying offer must be at or below $10.
- Dollars below list: enter how much less than the list price you want to pay.
- Percent below list: enter the discount you want relative to the list price.
The dollar-off and percent-off options need a list price to calculate the line. If that is missing, use an exact price. Select the whole list for a shared line, or select a single title to give it a different budget.
Save your alert preferences
Sign in with an email link to save your queue and price lines. In Settings, choose your email frequency and quiet hours. Price-alert emails depend on a qualifying store offer meeting your saved line; a pending price is not a deal.
Never treat a sample price as an offer. Before buying, open the store link and confirm the current price, edition, format and shipping costs. Amazon is a “Check price on Amazon” link only; we do not display Amazon prices.
Search Libby before you buy
Add your library key, then use a book’s Search Libby link. It opens a title search for that library on Libby. Check availability there: Track Book Price does not check live availability, reserve books or connect to your library account.
Borrowing may be the better choice if a copy is available. If not, leave the title in your reading list while you decide what you want to pay.
Pick the tracker that fits your reading
A reading-list tracker suits readers who are open to different formats or borrowing. If you only want Amazon-only tracking, compare the alternatives before choosing.
